Save the Carpathian Forest

The Svydovets massif in the Carpathians is one of the last untouched woodlands in Europe. For years, illegal logging has been disturbing the delicate ecological balance of the region. Now there are plans to build a gigantic ski resort that would massively affect the landscape.

Together with the Bruno Manser Fund, local activists and environmentalists are fighting against the destruction of their homeland (www.freesvydovets.org). They ask all of Europe to support their appeal to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. This is our last hope for the preservation of the Carpathian Forest!
